SUMMARY: Swindon Social Enterprise Network (SSEN) will hold its fifth “networking” event on Wednesday 4th September, 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm, in The Salvation Army’s social enterprise: “Recycles”, Booth House, 1 Spring Close, Swindon SN1 2BF. Two guest speakers will be presenting: Michelle Phillips from Magnetic Mindset Coaching CIC and Alex Pollock from SocMedSup.

The event will commence at 4.30pm with an opportunity to mingle with other attendees over tea/coffee/juice and biscuits. At 5pm a formal welcome, introduction to the event and update about the SSEN’s work will be delivered by a member of the steering group.

Then the two speakers will present. The first will be Alex Pollock who is the Managing Director of – a social media marketing agency, that helps brands tell their stories online; and the Co-Founder of Men’s Mental Health – Swindon. He launched the social agency in the 2016, having spent the previous 8 years working for global corporates and digital media agencies in social media strategy roles. Now, he and his team collaborate with brands and organisations to help them deliver on their overall business objectives through the effective use of social media.

Alex will be answering the question: “Which social networks should I be showcasing my social enterprise on?” Including:

Introduction to each of the main social channels
Understanding the audience groups
Managing channels and increasing efficiency
Case example: Why we chose Facebook as the official channel for launching Men’s Mental Health – Swindon

Then Michelle Phillips from Magnetic Mindset Coaching CIC will deliver a presentation about “Mind Harmony”, what it is and how it can help along with some participation from the audience. Magnetic Mindset Coaching CIC aims to make coaching available and affordable to all. The first step is the creation of Mind Harmony(TM) which uses an innovative fusion of fun and education to teach the tools and techniques required to build good mental health and wellbeing.  The hope is to reignite the inner child and teach the importance of creating new habits required to maintain good mental health and resilience.

After there will be time to network more and Alex, Michelle and members of the steering group of the Swindon Social Enterprise Network will be available to answer any questions.
