SUMMARY: Swindon Social Enterprise Network (SSEN) will hold it’s seventh “networking” event (first of 2020) on Wednesday 12th February, 4.30 pm to 6.00 pm, at Optimum Professional Services Limited, Vicarage Court, 160 Ermin Street, Stratton, Swindon, SN3 4NE. Two guest speakers will be presenting: Mark Faithfull, founder of The Malmesbury Speakers Academy demonstrating “How to inspire people to support your mission”, followed by Anthony de Souza of the Crowdfunding Mastery Academy answering the question “How can Crowdfunding benefit my organisation?”
The event is free to attend and will commence at 4.30pm with an opportunity to mingle with other attendees over tea/coffee/juice and biscuits. At 5pm a formal welcome, introduction to the event and an update about the SSEN’s work will be delivered by a member of the steering group.

Then Anthony de Souza of the Crowdfunding Mastery Academy will present. Crowdfunding is a new form of democratic finance that is unlocking hundreds of millions for non-profit, social enterprises, charities and startups across the globe.
Attendees will find out how crowdfunding can best work for you and your organisation.
The talk will cover:
- Different types of crowdfunding
- Crowdfunding platforms
- Local crowdfunding case studies
