SWINDON 105.5 is a not for profit community radio service: In Swindon, by Swindon, for Swindon.
The station opened in 2006 and operates 24/7 with about 120 team members regularly involved. It was initially funded by grants, donations, corporate support, fund-raising events and support in-kind. Recently it is has been allowed by OFCOM to generate income by providing training courses, advertising and programme sponsorship opportunities.
